The Powerhouse is a charity in East London run by and for women with learning difficulties.

We run workshops on healthy and independent living. We also provide advocacy and peer-support to our members. We have a dynamic team of staff and volunteers who are committed to the goals of the organization.

We empower members to lead full and independent lives by providing a safe and welcoming space for women with learning difficulties.

Through the Powerhouse, women make friends and gain life skills and also learn about their rights and choices.
