We run empowering workshops on healthy eating, independent living and life skills, providing advocacy and peer-support to our members. We have a dynamic team of staff and volunteers who are committed to the goals of the organisation. We are currently recruiting for a new Part- Time Project Manager (paid) and Management Committee Members (voluntary). This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in a small and dedicated team and take the organisation forward. We are looking for inspirational leaders, with strong management and fundraising skills taking the Powerhouse into the next stage of its growth and ensuring financial sustainability. This will include overseeing partnerships, health and safety, monitoring and evaluation and marketing whilst working within Powerhouse’s policies and procedures. We are looking for a part-time administrator who is a self-starter with a positive attitude, and a commitment to the improving the lives of people with learning difficulties. The position involves overseeing the day to day running of the office, financial administration, supporting staff and the groups and administrative duties required for the management committee. 	Management Committee Member We are looking for a team of dedicated women to join our Management Committee. This is a chance to be part of an enthusiastic and committed team and to contribute to the women's movement. The Powerhouse is member-led which means that women with learning difficulties are also on the Management Committee.
